Parkinson’s disease is a progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects movement. Although it cannot be cured there are medications and surgery that can help.

Alexander Technique is very effective for helping Parkinson’s disease as it addresses and calms the nervous system.

Lessons are done fully clothed, on a massage table and are extremely relaxing. Results are profound.

Here is a short video of Alison Wood, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease for 13 years, showing us the change in her walk when applying the Alexander Technique. “And that’s why I like Alexander Technique, because I can get around”, she says.
