​Last week I went to work with a difficult dog, wearing my Dog Whisperer hat. 

The client, Maggie, called me about Earl, a large rat terrier, who is very intelligent but also very stubborn. She told me Earl is being "vicious" toward other dogs and the problem is getting worse.

Connection in spite of circumstances. It seems that the lion feels the children and acts as though they are actually touching him. He must feel their energy. He certainly seems to enjoy it!

When I work with  dogs, especially difficult dogs, I am well advised to remain in the present moment, actually seeing and hearing what is around me. The dog can tell the difference in the quality of my attention. The dog respects me more and I have a better chance of  influencing him/her in a "present" state of mind.
