​FEEDING RAW FOOD TO DOGS
I had read about feeding raw food to dogs and cats years before I ate the Primal Diet. I tried it with my cat but I didn’t succeed. He was too old and he was used to easy to eat, mushy food. I gave up.

Then we got a dog for my son. I began reading. I mostly based my dog’s diet on “Raw Meaty Bones” by Veterinarian Tom Lonsdale. But then I learned more and changed what I fed. Here is what I learned:

​Last week I went to work with a difficult dog, wearing my Dog Whisperer hat.

The client, Maggie, called me about Earl, a large rat terrier, who is very intelligent but also very stubborn. She told me Earl is being "vicious" toward other dogs and the problem is getting worse.

When I work with  dogs, especially difficult dogs, I am well advised to remain in the present moment, actually seeing and hearing what is around me. The dog can tell the difference in the quality of my attention. The dog respects me more and I have a better chance of  influencing him/her in a "present" state of mind.
